2000 Grey Purebred Arabian Stallion. A Kohejlan-Moradi.
Bred by David Marshall in Australia and imported to New Zealand.
Pradaa is by Naazim (Mustafa x Naadirah (imp UK), and out of Greengrove Sasha (by UK National Champion Narim from the last Aswan daughter Vnuchka who was imported to Australia from Tersk Stud, Russia).
GG Sasha has not been shown at halter but was raced lightly in 1997 and like her dam showed good form. Vnuchka was raced in Russia for two wins from three races before her exportation.
Predominately Russian bred, Pradaa is to date the only entire from Sasha and will also carry the great Naazim's genes into the next century as he has now gone to greener pastures.
The joining was chosen to give more Naseem, Nazeer and Aswan blood to the breeding programme at Holly Farm where David has recognised the mix to give great athletic strength for endurance and also a typey horse for the halter ring.
Pradaa is an Open Qualified Endurance Horse. In December 2008 he placed 3rd in his first CEI*** 120km Endurance Ride, ridden by Australian rider Jennifer Gilbertson. Ridden by another Australian Endurance Rider, Chelsea Miller, Pradaa won the CEI1* 80km ride and Best Conditioned Mid-December 2009.
2010/2011 Standing at Public Stud. Transported semen by arrangement.
